The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® is growing globally in the yoga, dance, Pilates and physical therapy communities! Currently there are over 5,000 Instructors in 78 different counties. In 2010, teacher training courses in this cutting-edge technique grew by 36%! This year, we saw the Ohio GYROTONIC® community grow in Columbus, Akron, Toledo, Cincinnati and Cleveland.

As the first premier training center in the state of Ohio, we are ready to help you get certified and start sharing this work with your students - if you are interested in pursuing the teacher training route.

We offer:

  • Free Demonstrations to Yoga, Pilates, Dance and Energy teachers throughout the region.
  • GYROKINESIS® Teacher Training - a movement mediation that frees the body, opens energetic pathways, clears the mind and creates internal harmony.
  • GYROTONIC® Teacher Training - an equipment system based on GYROKINESIS® offering resistance and support for strengthening, sport training, rehabilitation and general excellent health.
  • Ongoing GYROTONIC® Teacher Training in specialized pieces of equipment.

GYROTONIC® / GYROKINESIS® Training Steps

1. Get Experience: start taking classes and tell your teacher you are planning to take pre-training.
To qualify for GYROTONIC® Pre-Training, you need to complete a series called "Progression 1" with your teacher. To qualify for GYROKINESIS® Pre-Training, you need to either take some classes or with with the DVD's.

2. Pre-Training - with Pre-Trainer

3. Foundation Training with Master Trainer

4. Apprentice Teaching - practice teaching your clients, friends and family

5. Apprentice Review Course with Master Trainer

6. Apprentice Teaching - continue practice teaching with your clients, friends and family

7. Final Certification - in Miami or Germany with an Authorizing Master Trainer (not in Cleveland)

Get Experience

We have 3 certified GYROKINESIS® Instructors and 2 apprentices who can get you started. Prices range from $13 - 15 per hour for class participation. DVD's can be purchased at the studio or at the GYROTONIC® Web Site.

Get Experience

We have 6 certified GYROTONIC® Instructors who can get you started. Prices range from $50 - 90 per hour for private training. Joining a group class or bringing a friend will reduce your costs.
